Raya Aftabi earned her Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from Karlstad University in 2024. She has always been driven by a strong desire to help people in difficult life situations and is particularly passionate about supporting the most vulnerable members of society.
Throughout her studies, Raya focused on areas within human law, with a particular emphasis on family law, migration law, and social law. She sees it as her responsibility as a legal professional to ensure that individuals’ rights are upheld not just in theory, but also in practice.
With great dedication and a strong sense of justice, Raya aims to strengthen legal protection for those who need it most – and to help more people gain access to safety, support, and justice in their lives.
